I really don't like seeing that pawn is making the same move over and over again I'm annoyed and now I'm going to uninstall the game

Interesting questlike adventure, set in a world loosely based on the rules of chess. Definitely a bon for diehard chess fans. I'd probably go with 3 and a half stars, but my glass is always half full anyway 😎

Choosing to redo any lower level makes no difference to difficulty staying the highest. Very long loading time but the game is awesome!

I got this for free and as some who loves chess it looked like I would love this game. However the implementation is terrible. The quests don't tell me what I am supposed to do. Loading times were up to minutes which is unacceptable for such a tiny game. Sometimes tooltips appear and disappear under a second making it impossible to read. Gameplay is terrible. You are supposed to know which enemy drops what so it becomes a guessing game rather than intelligence. Back to playing regular chess.

Level 19. Let me set the stage. A king and a rook against two bishops. And there are walls placed diagonally all over the board. So of course, your king can get around, but your rook can't. This isn't to say that there aren't MANY silver doors, but if you use all your keys one round and then don't win, YOU DON'T HAVE KEYS ANYMORE. Start the level, rook tries to get the ONE key in the level, Bishop immediately guards it, and even if you do get it, it won't help much. Game over, YOU LOSE FOREVER.

I wanted to share to you a review of the game, the concept is great, and I didn't play any other game like this, but to be honest, the game is way to hard for someone playing the game for the first time. In fact, the HUD is way more complicated to understand and the player seems to understand the rules by himself, I think this will be cool to show the tutorial at the beginning of the game, with at the beginning just a silly puzzle and the explanation somewhere on the screen. Keep it up !
